From Jane Fonda joy riding on a North Vietnamese tank back in 1972 (when John McCain was still a prisoner of war
there) to Sean Penn taking international diplomacy into his own hands by visiting Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez, to
Leonardo DiCaprio trying to force his green lifestyle on the rest of us, tinseltown liberals have long believed it their
place to tell the rest of us what to think, how to vote, and how to live. Very much for free speech and tolerance of
ideas unless of course you happen to disagree with them, liberal entertainers seem to be playing an increasingly
important role in each successive election. Their influence is particularly strong with young uninformed voters who
would rather educate themselves by watching Saturday Night Live or Comedy Central than endure the inconvenience
of actually researching the issues and casting an informed, intelligent vote. These little brats don’t’ event watch Fox
News for crying out loud.

During the 2008 election, liberal entertainers seemed to be holding an unofficial contest to see who could drop the “F
Bomb” most often. Madonna and her former girlfriend Sandra Bernhard both used it to attack Governor Sarah Palin.
Actress Hayden Panettiere used it in a spoof advertisement that made fun of Senator John McCain . Most Hollywood
types agreed that John McCain and Sarah Palin simply were not smart enough for the job. Joe (jobs is a three letter
word) Biden and Barack (I’ve been to 57 states) Obama however appeared brilliant to this group of thespians who are
all lifetime members of the intellectual wannabe club.

Yet, like most Americans, conservatives are guilty of helping provide them with the very pedestal of fame from which
they preach their extreme liberal ideology to the rest of us. Are conservatives so starved for entertainment that we
can’t forgo visiting the local movie theater to get our point across? Why should Republicans continue to stuff dollars
into Hollywood coffers when ultimately these dollars end up in the hands of spoiled, immoral, promiscuous, drug
taking, liberals who obviously hate American Democracy and would like to see us spread the wealth around to the
point of becoming a socialist nation? Given the tax breaks entertainers receive, it won’t be their wealth that gets
spread around, it will yours and mine!!!

Loud, vulgar protests are simply not the conservative way. It would be great to see conservatives wielding anti-
Hollywood signs show up outside the theater for the next Matt Damon or Sean Penn movie, but I’m not going to hold
my breath waiting on it. In a year when we all need to be pinching pennies anyway, why not make movie tickets the
first thing we cut from the monthly family budget? It's frankly the only way Hollywood liberals will ever be tamed.
By the way, this was The Hooterville Gazette's response to Matt Damon's comments on Sarah Palin. When Hollywood
stars are this over the line, they should be called out for it. The same holds true for any liberal within the world of
entertainment. It's time to take our country back from the freaks!!!
